Visas and entry
What you need depends on the passport you hold, and the rules change. Every line below comes from the government source linked beside it. Check that source again before you book, and tell us your passport country when you enquire so we can tell you what we know.
Georgia
- UK, EU, US and UAE passports: no visa needed, for stays of up to one year. Government of Georgia list
- Holding a valid visa or residence permit from the US, the UK, most EU and Schengen countries, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Israel, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman or Kuwait: no visa needed, for up to 90 days in any 180. - Indian passport without one of those visas or permits: a visa is needed. Apply through Georgia's official portal, evisa.gov.ge, or a Georgian embassy.
Armenia
- UK, EU, US and UAE passports: no visa needed, for up to 180 days a year. Armenian Foreign Ministry list
- Indian passport: apply for an e-visa at evisa.mfa.am; travel insurance is required. Embassy of Armenia in India
- Holding a residence permit from the US, an EU or Schengen country, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or Oman, valid for at least six months from the day you enter: no visa needed from 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2027, for up to 180 days in a year. Armenian Foreign Ministry
Azerbaijan
- UK, EU, US and Indian passports: apply online for an e-visa before you travel, through the official ASAN Visa portal, evisa.gov.az.
- Other passports, including UAE: not on the e-visa list; check the official portal or ask us.
Uzbekistan
- UK and UAE passports: no visa needed, for up to 30 days. Uzbek Foreign Ministry
- US passport: no visa needed, for up to 30 days, since 1 January 2026. Government of Uzbekistan
- EU passports: the rules differ by country; check the Foreign Ministry list.
- Indian passport: the Foreign Ministry page still lists a visa requirement, while other sources report a recent change. Until that is settled, check the official e-visa portal, e-visa.gov.uz, before you book.
Kazakhstan
- Indian passport: no visa needed, for up to 14 days per visit and 42 days in any 180. Embassy of India in Kazakhstan
- Other passports: citizens of many countries can visit without a visa for up to 30 days per visit and 90 days in any 180. Check yours on the Kazakh Foreign Ministry page.
Travelling to more than one country
Each country is a separate entry, so check each one on your route. Your passport must be valid for your whole stay; some countries ask for more. Meeting entry requirements is the traveller's responsibility, as our terms set out.
