Privacy policy
This policy describes what this website actually collects, where it goes, and how to get it removed. It is written to match how the site really works rather than to cover every eventuality in the abstract.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or a booking request, we store what you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number if given, your message, and the trip details (tour, dates, number of travellers, hotel level). A booking request also asks which country's passport you travel on, so we can check visa rules, and any meal preference, so we can tell the hotels and restaurants. We do not ask for passport numbers.
We also record the quotes the site produces, the destination, dates, group size and the price given. This is an internal record so that we can answer questions about a price we quoted you.
Our hosting provider processes standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type as part of delivering the page to you.
We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, passport numbers or any other identity document through this website.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and arrange a trip if you decide to book. If you never contact us, we have no personal details from you beyond the technical information above.
Who else processes it
We use a small number of service providers to run this site. Each processes data only to provide their service to us:
- Cloudflare, hosting and delivery of these pages.
- Supabase, the database holding enquiry records and quote records.
- Resend, delivers the emails about your enquiry or booking request, to our team and to you.
If advertising or analytics tools are in use on this site, those providers will also receive standard usage data. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with other travel companies.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept while we are dealing with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Ask us to delete them sooner and we will.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area these are rights you have under the GDPR, and they apply to you here regardless of where we are based.
To exercise any of them, email [email protected]. We do not require a particular form of words, just tell us what you want removed.
